Membership Benefits

The Asian Population Association, or APA, is a non-profit international association of Asian population specialists with the aim of drawing the attention of scholars, governments, international governmental and non-governmental organizations, and the general public to population issues in Asia and promoting demography as a science. The Association organizes regional and specialized conferences, seminars, and workshops, coordinates the work of Scientific Committees and Scientific Groups, and documents research output through a wide variety of publication formats. The contribution of members through membership renewals is crucial for the Association to fulfill its mission of promoting population studies in Asia, as well as maintaining the APA website and communication channels that ensure interaction among members. The APA is also pleased to accept donations to support the Association's work.
APA membership is for all persons who have made contributions to the scientific study of population issues through their research, teaching, writing, or other related activities.
